After our investor circle meeting in Zurich last Friday we took off with some investors to Davos. The weather there was incredibly good and much better than expected with lots of sunshine. After skiing all day on Parsenn we enjoyed ourself in the evening in the Tonic Piano bar in the Europe Hotel. There Manu rocked the place with his amazing performance.

openBC meeting in Zurich
I just received the final confirmation for Monday’s first openBC meeting in Zurich, taking place in Kurt Aeschbacher’s labor-bar. It is incredible that so many persons signed up at first that the capacities of the venue (around 400 persons maximum) were overbooked twice. Thus, the organizers needed to split the event and offered also a second meeting next tuesday with still some places left, whereas Monday is with over 400 people at its limit. However, I am looking forward to meet many interesting new people.
If you also want to be part of Europe’s biggest network, just sign up for free with my invitation, receive a monthly long premium membership and benefit from my over 8,900 contacts. See you soon in openBC!
Kicking-off the New Year 2005!
Hope everybody made it into the new year. I wish you all a happy and successful 2005! I just returned to Switzerland after a much too short time in Warsaw. As last year I celebrated new year’s eve there. This time we had a small party at my girlfriend’s flat with a bunch of Poles. I haven’t drunken that much vodka for a long time after Sabinki!
Veggie food in Wawa
While I am currently in Warsaw, I wanna use this posting for another venue recommendation here. This time it’s about a vegetarian restaurant directly situated in the city center – Guru, ul. Bracka 18. As the name already suggests this venue has some Indian influences and in fact it is decorated with bamboo sticks and photos of Indian people, somehow looking like Gurus. At first, I thought I would not be full after a veggie meal, but the main lunch menu really made me more than this. The food is just delicious and the staff also very attentive. Beside the tables with chairs on the basement and the ground floor of this rather small place, you can also sit on the first floor on the ground, without your shoes of course. I am not becoming a veggie after this meal, but from time to time it is just healthy and then this venue is top.
Merry Christmas 2004!
Weht im Schnee ein Weihnachtslied
Leise ber Stadt und Felder,
Sternenhimmel niedersieht,
Und der Winternebel zieht
Um die dunklen Tannenwlder.
Weht im Schnee ein Weichnachtsduft
Trumerisch durch dichte Flocken,
Fllt die schwere Winterluft
Und aus weichen Wolken ruft
Sanft der Klang der Kirchenglocken.
Geht durch Schnee ein Weihnachtskind
Liebend ber kalte Erde,
Geht dahin und lchelt lind,
Hoffend, dass wir gtig sind
Und die Menschheit besser werde.
Hilde Fürstenberg
I wish you all a merry and relaxing christmas time with your family and friends.
