On my way back from Warsaw on July 4-5, 2004, I rediscovered with a friend of mine Berlin a bit more. After my arrival late afternoon we went in the famous Palst Revue of the Friedrichstadtpalst. Famous more for old people who saw it mostly in East Germany as exciting entertainment on TV on ordinary Saturday evenings. As in the past only the privilged people could see it on stage, now the queue of buses in front of the place do not seem to end with hundereds of old people being brought to watch it. Was not too bad indeed – instead of the repeating choreography as I was told. In any case our attendance let the average age shrink from over 60 years dramatically.
Our small trip on Sunday took us from the Brandenburg Gate beside the Holocaust memorial to the Potsdamer Platz with the new Beisheim Center. All in all, a great time out in Berlin. Thanks for the good time and the accommodation!
