Tonight Martin, Sven and me went to see the Munich group Flute Flash in Bürgertreff for the incredible price of 1 EUR (“Geizpreis”). Monika Olszak and her band experiences with flute sounds to jazz – and not too bad. Her band is really multinational (the half-italian drummer comes from UK – really crazy guy, the bassist from former Yugoslavia, and the drummer is Argentine), and at least as many influcences and facets has their Jazz. They played two sets for about two hours and varied across several styles. Have not often been to such a good concert. So, if you have the opportunity to see the four, do not miss it!
