During my stay here in the last two weeks we explored a couple of new venues beside rediscovering some good old ones. One has been the modern stylish NU Jazz Bistro, ul. Zurawia 6/12. There is not much reminding that the former club Zuraw was located here, beside the same layout of the room, but now a piano has replaced the dance floor. Very lovely to listen to piano sounds while enjoying some of their cuisine. It does not only call itself a fashion bar, but also attracts people from this business. At least the model and her agent beside us revealed it.
Right beside NU has opened a new Italian restaurant called Compagnia del Sole. A self-service canteen, which seems to be currently very popular among Warsaw’s upper class. I wonder why because not only the running around to compile your dish seems is for me in restaurants of this price category a bit inadequate, but also the dishes could have been a big bigger. Additionally, the venue could have a bit more style, not only in clean wine glasses. Nevertheless, the food is very delicate and fresh.
A very recommendable venue is NoBo, ul. Wilcza 58a. In its completely red interiors with comfortable sofas you can chill out completely while enjoying delicious cocktails.
For friends of trance tunes the club Le Madame, ul. Kozia 12, in the old town is a great place to spend the night. It is a shiny underground club with erotic photography and a bit eccentric crowd. Definitely a place I sould have discovered earlier in Warsaw.
